[EVO 6.5] Certificate of Conformity
Discussion
Hi guys,
I'm thinking of importing an EVO 6.5 to - you might have guessed it - the Netherlands.
Now in order to get the car roadregistered over here you need a European Certificate of Conformity. There are only one or two of these cars over here and they were never officially imported, so the Dutch Mitsubishi importer thinks his name is Manuel ("I know nothing".
Does anyone here perhaps knows whether or not such a Certificate can be provided for this car? And where should I get it from, Mitsubishi UK or are there any specialised dealers in the UK that would be better equiped?
Thanks a bunch in advance!

You could try asking these guys - www.xtreme-uk.net/
They used to be Ralliart uk , but changed there name a while back.
Recon they would be able to help.
Paul.
Ok great, thanks! I'll give them a try after Christmas.
According to the new rules for 2007 (they change them here virtually every year) a European type approval might also be enough (depending on the numbers of a specific model made by the factory, but 5000 TME's should be more than enough). So fingers crossed.
