Bit early maybe but thought I'd put a post out to see who is interested - I thought maybe sometime in March / April? Any chance of making this a sticky? Hope to take some video of the day which could be used as PH content...

So;

a) which of you is interested?
b) which track would you prefer?
c) model of bike / experience?

Rob.

I'll start!

I'm up for it...
Track would be best is Snetterton...
GSXR1000 and done a few last year, probably could go in the middle group (depends on whether my bank balance can afford the 2007 crashes )

I might be up for it. Although at present I hve a very un-racer in a Honda FMX650 - but could be a real great way to find it's limits. I'm down the SOuth Coast but don't mind a bit of travelling!

A) MEMEMEMEME!!!!

B) As far north as I can persuade you soft southern poofs to go! On balance, Donny would probably be a good choice, could probably stay with friends locally.

C) Fazer 600 with no experience whatsoever. Hell, I'm still surprised they let me lose on the roads...

A) Yes, If I have a bike by then
B)Any... Although I highsided at Snetterton so might be best to avoid that
C) Only 1 track day.. I was lapping people in the novice group until I highsided... I think I'm a bit too "Win it or Bin it" Casey Stoner style.

I'd be keen,
I'm working abroad March, April & May, back in the UK at the begining of June.

Hopefully your first one will be a huge sucess and... then I can come to some of the subsequent ones.
I like Brands Hatch, Donington and perhaps surprisingly, Rockingham (without the banking). I'm not so keen on Silverstone.

I will probably be on my old Duke and after a winter +3 months away, I'll be SLOW.

xmas Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a safe New Year. drink beer

The novelty of sliding up the track on your arse wears off pretty quickly.

I was doing 75 at the time so I did head, arse, face, head, arse, face a few times before I stopped. Apparently, I ran over to my bike and tried to pick it up, like I was gonna carry on, until the marshalls pointed out all the bits wrong with the bike and put be in the back of their ambulance.

I'd be interested. CBR 600RR Track Bike. First time on a track, Brands Hatch 1984 did several this year. Not sure this end of the country (North East) is a good idea March/April. Was at Knockhill April 8th this year and there was snow at the side of the track( track was soaking wet). Cadwell gets my vote.

Tatty bye

Nice idea...I`m a Knockhill regular...but would love to ride Oultan park...and the rest of `em really...Got a few bits & bobs to do to the bike over the winter mind...I`ll probably fit a track day fairing and it is due a service..
I`m thinking of downgearing to try to fend off all the high powered /04/05/06 model 1000`s that power past on occasion...bastards...

Ducati 996
Runner up in a round of the Rizla Suzuki search for a star...(I was robbed guv...I was just following the heat winners fat arse whilst performing sparky kneedown for the people....) It`s been about a year since I`ve been in the saddle though...so I`m a bit rusty...

I think we have a similar riding style Gets expensive after a while - I'll be taking it a little easier in 2007...

I could be interested depending on dates...

I'll either bring the big heavy Sprint or I'm toying with the idea of picking up a cheap 600 for this kind of thing.

No experience on track and little on the road either, don't mind travelling.

A definate maybe, would favour Oulton, Donny or Cadwell. Great idea , lets hope the weather is kind and I can find something a little quicker than my current TTR.
