And here's a Christmas vid for you all. From sea level to sea level over the highest pass in the UK in under three minutes - what more could you want. (OK probably a lot, but this is all you'll get from me).

(Broadband will be fine... dialup should only think of a 'right click - save as' - 11 mb... sorry)

Have a good one folks, and a great 2007

Steve

You might have turned left, went into the Applecross Inn and had a sly one since you'ld driven all that way.

Lurverly - thank-you

I've been close to there on trips in recent years (got to Shiel Bridge and then up to Achnasheen), but will have to try this next time I'm up.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Did you write the music especially for that movie or was it just a happy coincidence that it ties in quite nicely?

ello you - long time no type.

Nah I wrote it a couple of years ago and varied the speed of the vid so that it was the right length! Same way I buy cars actually - I order them and then work out how the hell to pay.

Have a good one.

Ah, I started a new job and have been busy there so haven't had much time to "chat". I have the next week or so off and then back to work again.

There is a nice coincidence then - halfway through you take a left harpin and the music slow and "zips" around. Very nice!

Merry Christmas.

Nicely done.

Reminds me of when I went over that pass this summer. Except it took nearer 3 hours than 3 minutes, visibility was about 100 yards, it was blowing a gale and it didn't stop raining once...

Great fun though.

Super stuff, but I suspect you're going to cost me quite a lot petrol money at some point next year - I HAVE to drive that road! Do you have a realtime version with the Aston sound? Now that I'd like to see.....

Pah, you did it backwards - everyone knows it should be done the other way around so you get to see this :

A friend of mine span just before that first hairpin with the rock lip on the west side descent. Lucky he didn't go off it and very lucky the bloke following didn't pile in to him. The video from the car following has some choice language

First time I went over the Bealach I was thinking, "Wonder where Allan span...", then the view opens up right as you hit that very corner and I thought "ah..that'll be it then"

I knew Astons were fast but FFS!

Steve...I wish you and Iona a wonderful 2007, (with no builders or bureaucrats!), and dearly hope I have the opportunity to buy you a pint soon.

Best wishes...Martin.
