Where's My Office Gone?

Hi all,

I've just completed a system restore on my laptop (to re-format the HD and get rid of a few bugs), only problem is the restore hasn't re-installed MS Office which was pre-installed on the laptop from new. All the CDs were in the laptop box together (so I thought) yet I cannot find an office cd.

Am I being a numpty, or am I going to have to buy a new copy of office (which I am loathed to do)?

click My Computer > C: [Local Disk] or [HDD] normally and look for a folder called drivers or a folder called software..

what is the make and model of your laptop? if it's a Packard bell then it could be in start > all programs > packard bell support > smart restore > software
