Hi,

Got a problem with the accumate charger on the T350. As soon as I plug it into the cig lighter the light goes green to indicate fully charged, I know it's not. I also know it's not the accumate as it works normally on my MG. Fuse for cig lighter seems fine also.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?

Thanks.

Does the midget have 6v batteries like a MG roadster, obvious I know but have you switched it back to 12v setting for TVR? Do other devices work plugged into the TVR socket?

Rob,

Just took a look at the instructions and its says if the green light comes on straight away the battery is in a bad way and probably in deep discharge, it suggests leaving the charger on for a day or two where it will attempt to recharge but most likely the battery is a gonna.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for that. Bit odd though as the car seems to drive and start up fine. Suspect it may be something else?

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Rob.

Checked the instructions again and it does mention that a possible cause maybe:

SULFATION: A term used to describe deterioration in a lead-acid cell in which a portion or all of the active material will not chemically react during charging and store chemical energy. The battery is said to be sulfated.
