Can somebody tell me if a V8s has a full stainless steel exhaust system as standard ?? If it was a 91 car I assume this would also be a pre-cat version ??

I read alot about checking the outriggers on the Chims and Griffs, does the same go for the S series ?? What was the build quality like on the later S series as compared to the early Chims ??

As with any series of car the later on in production the car is made more of the faults are sorted out during the build

As Pies said, but my J reg S3's build quality was great. Miles better than my Griff. Reliability was ace too.

I'd echo Wildfire on that, on a 1991 car it would have escaped the factory 15 years ago and likely been better cared for since, so could well have many of the niggles dealt with that newer cars may still have.
