PC gamers, make sure you download the patch to 1.1 as the game is buggy.
It's 'ok' to be honest, I found the controls to be a little flaky and the energy management thing a waste of time.
To be honest, it's a bit "Bridge Commander" in that the AI is far better at running the ships than you are so it's best to take a scout and leg it whilst they battle themselves.
Several annoyances such as torpedo's not firing (despite a 'lock' and being loaded) phaser bursts being seemingly independant of the 'charge bar' and ships manuverability being random (some ships are slow as poo to rotate on full impulse, others are spanky quick... yet shouldn't be).
The other REALLY annoying thing is that rather than doing the campaign movies in the campaign they are all avaliable from the get go on the main menu as 'Extras'.
It's a standard Bethesda effort. Good graphics, good sound, let down by controls. 6/10, 1 being Halo 10 being Neverwinter Nights.

Unfortuant;y the PC version has many flaws that are fixable by yet unreleased patches, the 360 version is however fantastic, they got it running great

As I said 1.1 patch is avaliable for download. I do agree that it's a good story line, although a little too bridge commander for my liking. I'm just playing to see how the campaign develops more than anything
Ofiicial XBOX magazine gave it 8/10 in the US
