Whoope I've broken my duck* and spotted a 56 Red VXR Monaro on the open road in Dunstable today pulling out onto the Luton Road at about 3:00pm. We (OLYC and me) were in the forecourt of Bellevue Garage looking at a Astra Coupe he's thinking of buying.

Any one on here?

*I didn't count the HSV badged C.A.P.A. that I parked next to in Milton Keynes a couple of weeks ago that I assume belongs to LSV (The LSV Decals were a giveaway)

Coincidence - my wife (in the red CAPA Monaro) spotted that same 56 car the other day. It may have been the same day, but otherwise it would indicate that Monaro is probably local to Milton Keynes. If so, he'll need a standing order for left front tyres.

Could have been me seen in MK by your wife, but not guilty of the Dunstable sighting LOL...Forget the front left tyres, it's the two rears with all the full bore roundabout exits that i'm worried about

My wife's is an auto; she doesn't take it over 2000rpm, so the rear tyres aren't really a problem. Probably wise; when we uprated the power we didn't really give enough thought to the kickdown, which is rather exciting if you're not going in a straight line at the time.

All very well, but we did get burned off by a fully loaded (er, with passengers!) 2CV coming off a roundabout near MK a few weeks ago. Their all time biggest (only?) scalp and the start of 100 miles of bickering from me. As childish and unfair as wishing to beat the 2CV in the first place.
