upgrade fuel pump

They are louder than the 400 pump yes.

As Alex said, they are noisier, but if well wrapped in neoprene, or whatever, they shouldn't be too intrusive. I had mine done in the hot summer months and found when the car had been sitting in the sun the pump sounded like a demented bee. Apparently this was fuel vapourising and cavitating(?) and was cured by 1) tilting the pump upwards so vaporised fuel wasn't trapped and 2) putting a small, slatted vent at the bottom of the wheel arch liner to help prevent temp build up. Work done by Roush. Recommended.
