Does any one know how to open a Boxter front lid when the battery is flat?

mines got a little black ring on the end of a cable just inside the drivers door (where the hinges are). heard that it can be a little dodgy trying that cable but you can charge the battery from the fuse bos inside the drivers foot well. If you loook kin the hand book it shows everything in there.

If you check your instruction manual, there is I believe a battery connection in the fuse box that will enable you to use external power to open up the bonnet.

Next use the battery contacts to jump start it.

Then buy a battery conditioner and use it !

Hello the pull ring is for the petrol flap release...

How old is the boxster if it has the bonnet release buttons as opposed to release handles then there is a point in the fuse box to open the bonnet.
If not it will be a struggle and trying to fish out the release cable from under the front bumper.
