Linksys Wireless Bridge with XBOX360

So, the missues thought she'd be really good and get me a wireless adapter for the xbox360, but got me the one the guy in Dixons reccomended (uh oh), and its a Linksys USB one - and in a nutshell, no matter what i do, the xbox cant see the adapter, even though i have 2 green lights.

The issue i have is, i refuse not to have WEP enabled, and i have neighbours with wireless also - so i cant just let it connect, but then i am unable to configure in anyway..

any ideas? (before she takes it back!)

get the proper xbox one for £49.99 from PC world
i think that this is the only one that will work with the 360.

yeah, ended up with the original xbox one - worked fine
