My lovely wife bought me an Ipod Nano. It appears that I can't use it because my PC has the crappy Windows ME and not 2000 or XP.

I'm not brilliant at things like this.

Am I reading it all correctly or should the Nano be able to download from my CD's as it is or is it really a case of.. no 2000 or XP, no music ?

Windows ME was an embarrassment when released and should not be on any PC in use today. Nuke it!

Thanks both.

I thought I was reading it right and it wasn't just a fuzzy Christmas wine head. Shall be down to the sales tomorrow for either a new PC or an XP upgrade.

Seems that XPLAY 2 software will do the trick nicely.

Thanks, gregE240.
