Hi All,

Just got this superb little kit for christmas, and have been having a lot of fun with it.

I managed to find where the little device shows my GPS speed, but i was wondering if there is any software out on the net that you can download that will show the speed more clearly or any other interesting tid bits,

I need GPS speed to see the "proper" VMax speeds of my cars as im bored of seeing exaggerated speedo speeds,

thanks all

Been looking for something similar (bought one for Mrs Zax as a christmas present - figured this year if she didn't like the gift at least I could enjoy it )

Only found this one so far: www.webazar.org/tomtom/tripmaster.php?lang=uk

Looks useful to me since I was trying to figure out how to make a speed/time/distance type log of a journey with the Tomtom device and failing dismally...

What is 'unclear' about the way the speed is shown on the 910?
I have a 710 and the speed is perfectly readable or is it that you want monster text.

Few horns, bell and whistles would be a good idea too.

Looks like that Tripmaster software would do what you want. You may even be able to hack it to get rid of the compass etc. and just display the speed in huge font and keep the max speed hold function.
