Noticed while passing under a flyover a scamera shrouded in mist on Friday.

Presuming the scamera was being operated at the time what's the limit these days before they will act?, i.e. 80, 85? etc. And are they likely to operate it in fog?

PS - The road visibility was good - not foggy but the van was invisible until the last seconds!

You will be done if caught for 79 or above. The range of the Lidar will be affected by fog, rain, blizzards, etc. which cause the beam to scatter.

I'm afraid driving through Cumbria these days is very much a case of 'Don't feed the sharks'
