Went to go see a 599 that my local dealer just got in stock today.

Absolutely smashing car, inside and out. They fired it up and it sounded great too.

The sticker price was $308,000...not bad. However, they marked it up to $549,000 because they "worked hard to get it" yikes

Madness if you ask me. The sales rep there also said that only 500 are to be produced annually. IS this true? And will other 599s have such a ridiculous markup? It saddens me that such an amazing car is being pushed up into Zonda levels of inaccessibility...

Is that the car at Lamborghini SF?

if so that car is just there on SOR, the owner is just testing the market, it's not their car

US cars are trading $150-200k over, UK ones the pound equiv. Maybe this will be the 1st V12 front engined car that bucks the depreciation trend ?....... Nah , give it a year laugh

Nothing new. T2's were trading at 200% in the 80's. When everyone chases the new toy it's hardly suprising.

I know of a car in the uk being offered in the trade at £215,000 depending on exact spec is proberbly about £10,000 over list and will proberbly end up retailing around £230,000. (it is silver though, Im sure a red one might fetch a bit more).

I agree with the earlier post, V12 Ferrari's never hold their money well and in a years time Im pretty sure this one will be no different.

This premium bandwagan has already passed.

You really need to have the bumps on your head examined if you pay a premium for a V12 Ferrari.
