This is the re-worked one moving away from the old GPL base.

www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Nordschleife%20All%20Road - 2006 install is the full track with additional smaller tracks, then add the Village part too if you want. All go into the current Nuerberg folder in rfactor.

It's a driving (racing) sim for the PC with a huge number of addon tracks and cars.

FWD, what are the system requirements for it? And can you use a keyboard to try it out?

Demo is free with 2 cars and will run via keyboard, but to get the best out of it a wheel is needed.

Currently scanning ebay for cheap proforce befopre I commit to buying the game.

From ISI's site
Recommendations said:

Recommended
# Runs Best With Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 processor
# Windows XP
# 2048 MB RAM
# Geforce 7900 GT or Radeon X1900 GT
# 256 MB video RAM
# DirectX 9.0c
# 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation
# Internet connection required for one-time activation

Minimum
# System Requirements 1.4 GHz processor
# Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition)
# 512 MB RAM
# Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200
# 128 MB video RAM
# DirectX 9.0c
# 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation
# Internet connection required for one-time activation

Well I have a 2ghz AMD CPU with 1GB RAM and had trouble running it nicely and smoothly with a 256mb Nvidia 6600 GFX card, but upgraded to a 512mb Nvidia 7800 and I can run it on full graphics or turn it down slightly for online with lots of cars.
So I'm down on RAM, down on CPU but up on GFX card and it's ok for me.

For me now it's better to run than GTR2 which is more FPS hungry.

They can be from what I've heard but I never noticed a difference. But then there are different shock setups that cars can have.
