T350 alarm settings

Morning All,
Picked up a T350 last friday and so far i love it, light and day different to the Griff in a good way. Still getting used to not having the same torque but once up to temperature and its opened up - wow.
I have a question regarding the alarm which a search hasn't answered. The sensitivity will need adjusting and previous posts have provided some help, but i bought it with a cover and therefore want to set the alarm without activating the motion sensor. On the Griff you held the button for 3 flashes of the indicators but when i do this on the T350 the doors don't lock.
Is there a way to lock the doors without setting the motion sensor?
