speed excesses, what and why?................

We must have all gone a little 'over the limit' at some point, usually while dreaming. What's yours?

for myself I have dreamed of doing........
110MPH on a country road. Summer, dry, clear, straight, no turn offs.
125MPH motorway. Midnight, very light traffic
70MPH in 30 zone. Youth. For the hell of it.

while a passenger I have dreamed of..........
165MPH Dual carriageway on the back of a VFR racing bike - very breezy
120MPH in all zones, including a 20 for gods sake. Nutter of a mate back in the late eighties in a 205GTI.

Luckily, a friend of mine owns an airfield, and I've had 145 driving, and 155 riding the R6.

I've always dreamt of riding shotgun in an EVO rallycar driven at high speed during the day with anti-lag switched on in quiet A/B class roads. Hitting 120 would be nice.

Sadly I don't think it'll ever happen...
