Hi,

I've just tried to start my Cerb SP6 and it won't start. I've had to bump start her down the hill and now the MIL light and that dam buzzer has come on yikes I am organising the North Wales Xmas on Saturday so I need it fixed urgently.

I thought it might be the Oil pressure sensor, Air sensor etc. I've checked the wires and there doesn't seem to be a problem.

I've got the MBE software and a cable but it doesn't give any error codes, just valves. I've also got the TVR software but I think it's for the V8 and it never connects on the SP6.

Any ideas on how to get the TVR software running on an SP6?

I've also read the MIL can come on from a low voltage across the battery so I am charging it now.

If all else fails I am going to disconnect the buzzer - I've got no Cat anyway.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check your battery charge rate. Buzzer will go off by itself once the charge rate has picked up.

Could be lambda sensors if its been wet weather? Only tends to happen on sixes

Fault codes will need deleting once you get it on a computer.

KirstM,

Thanks, I've just been to check again and charging the battery seems to have done it.

If anyone has the S6 ECU software could you let me have it?

Cheers

John

Also - might be worth checking out your alternator?

Hi !

Had some problems to get the software to work on my 1999 Cerbera Speed Six.
Got the program from Headcase and if you follow the link below you can see how I got the program to work. It seems as my ECU prom is uppgraded from 1.01 to 1.16. The diag program gave me an error code that said that it didn´t recognise the ECU.

Good Luck
