Hi everyone, this little Christmas break has given me the opportunity to spend a bit of time in my garage pondering on what little treats to give the Tamora. It's a Silver Tam with Black Leather, so I'm thinking refurb the 18" Spiders and get them finished in Gunmetal with new rubber, I'm thinking twin headlights like the Orange Austec Tam and I'm thinking the loudest exhaust system known in the western world. I'm also thinking clear lenses all round with maybe LED's inside.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone knows how much the Twin headlights cost, are they available in HID flavour and are they an easy fit? Also, who does the kind of exhaust I'm after? (engine is standard 3.6 S6)

Many festive thanks

I applaud your decision to spend some TLC on your Tam BUT...

Gunmetal wheels with Silver paint thumbup
Twin head lamps- IF you must- OK the standard lights are pretty grim so HID is defo an upgrade
Loudest zorst- well back box only is the easy option & I think JP is the loudest as long as you don't want to do a track day nono - Ask Madbadger...
Or you could always go for a full custom system thumbup
CLEAR covers & LEDs sound a BIT chav eek

Happy New Year

See Silverstone Performance site. Is about £1000 for normal twin light upgrade and £1500 for Xenon lights. They also do better sidelights etc. I just had their wheels fitted to the Tam and very happy with them. Good outfit.

Anybody know of any upgrades to the rear lights? My wife was following in me the other day and it was pelting down; she said that she could hardly see the back lights.

Hey thanks for that, those headlights are a definite must thumbup

With regards to the LED's, I was thinking clear rear lenses with coloured LED's inside the unit instead of the traditional bulbs. Therefore, Red LED's for the brakes and Orange for the Indicators - I'm sure the Austec Orange Tamora has them and they look pretty sweet, not only that but LED's are a lot more robust and reliable than traditional filament lamps anyway.

I certainly wasn't thinking about Blue Neons underneath or anything chav-like yikes

I've got a TVR power one now. As loud as JP and more pops and bangs. As Chris says its about 109db at track day revs with a normal limit of <105db so could be a problem for tracks.

I quite like the smoked brake lights and the benefits of LEDs could counter the chav allegations. hehe

I can also highly commend the SP wheels. They are excellent.

I don't do any track days, so not really much of a problem. Although, I'll probably hold fire on the exhaust anyway and just sort out the other bits first. I might look into relocating the front number plate too maybe like the one on the SP website.

Hey thanks for that. It sounds excellent, I think the TVR power exhaust is the one for me cool
