I think on dark car a discrete under chin carbon lip would do the looks no harm if anything it should help stop the higher speed front end lift. That's not to say a max power front spoiler/lip and rear tea tray have any place on Cerb
. Craigs remodelled front is subtle and functional. Unless you look at another Cerb parked up alongside it, you would never know it wasn't factory standard
I think if sombody wants to change the car to meet there personal/individual taste then let them, in the other hand its fair enought that every bodys enitled to there opinion about what should and shouldnt be done to cars
Most 'max power' cars owners try to make there car stand out by moddin it from standard, eg alloys, tinted windows, different exhausts etc, yes some of them take it too far but again thats thier personal choice. How many people can say theve changed there cerb?? spiders, different suspension, exhaust etc

I'm keeping my 1998 4.5 standard (lights, wheels etc.) except for engine upgrades. As prices drop I'm sure we'll see some Cerb's fall in to the hands of people who can't or don't want to afford to keep them driveable in the longer term. Also, unfortunately, as Cerb's fall in to less experienced hands a few more will be written off. All of this is good news for the longer term value of those cerb's that remain well cared for. My guess is that prices will stabilise like those of the Griff. The status of the Cerb as a classic might suffer in the short term but it will never become a Maxpower Nova/Saxo...
Nothing wrong with adding to the engine, suspension wheels and colour etc. My fear is the body will be altered and the basic mechanics left to suffer meaning we have odd looking cerbs with shot engines. I know some of the max power cars cost a fortune and I am sure those guys would keep the car running in perfect order but Joe Average who buys the car just because he or she reads the performance figures instead of an Escort will I am sure leave it in a mess until it’s for sale on EBay.

... Seriously, by the time you fit one of these and get them painted to suit, then you are looking at £1500, so I dont know thet there will be many being fitted Mr F

Well, err, no on that point. My Cerb costs not much more to insure than Mrs Fubes's bloody Picasso!
In fact, I cant think of any high performance car (bang for £ etc) , outside a classic, that is as cheap to insure?
Trust me if your young insurance kills you on these!!! i have first hand experience of that!

It will happen, the max power boys will smash a few up. If they manage to keep it for a while, the expense of servicing and parts will put a big hole in their pockets. This coupled with the insurance, should do the job.
I really wouldnt worry guys, they have to get through our cars yet and there still quite a lot of cheap ones to go through
and "drifting" has been soooo helpful in attracting that ever so discerning owner 
The day that cerbera's are popularised as drift machines is the day to really start worrying....... As long as no one gets hurt, except maybe the moronic driver, I really dont know whether to laugh or cry every time another S14 gets written off, which is currently happening with alarming regularity
