baby seat in the front

merry christmas all,amongst some other stuff i got a beautifull baby boy this year(thanks santa)and was just thinking
has anybody put a rear facing babyseat in the frontof the cerb? i only know of the recaro start that fits in the back.

We have a maxi cosi cabrio babay seat in the front, my daughter is six months old, so too little for the foreward facing rear seats yet. I think most rear facing seats would fit in the front, theres a reasonable amount of room. Not great for the Mrs in the back though !

Can't post pics at the moment as I'm in the middle of changing hosts, but yes, we had a Graco Autobaby in the front seat for a while. Caused a bit of a stir at Nusery, but that may have been down to me waking up all the other little anklebiters when I collected mine at lunchtime!

My wife refused to squeeze in the back when we had the rear facing seat in the front.
I then decided against it as the seat was pretty tight against the dash (and so just got me worried about accidents and crushing).
