Your favourite wine region pics

Good thread idea...
The wine region I enjoyed visiting the most was probably the Douro in Portugal. Absolutely stunning scenery and vastly interesting wines...
...but the one I photographed (badly) was Marolborough in New Zealand's South Island.
Amazing place. The vineyards aren't on the slopes - they in the flat valley between two mountain ranges and the sea...
The inevitable barrels pic
Interting bottle sizes (TERRIBLE pic)
Hired a Z3 - best roadster/sports available from Thrifty - tried to get a Porsche but to no avail...
The Mrs inspecting the grapes - but not wasting photography or drinking time!
Wine regions: some of the best places in the world to tour. Perfect for sports cars, photography, walking, ...
Already planning next trip...

Right, the New Zealand ones have already had an airing but these two are my favourites. These were taken in the Cloudy Bay vineyard vicinity.
Next Up is St Emilion.
Then Montepulciano, which is just
...
And then Moet & Chandon in Epernay.
Which is not very photogenic but you can't take photos inside and this does have my old merc in shot.
and then.. Languedoc and the disney castle inspiration of Carcassonne.

Pikey,
Some of your shots look a bit weird, can't quite put my fingure on it but, you know like blurred or over exposed or something. Not meaning to be critical just wondered what the deal was?
Otherwise cool nice shots. The Chateau must have been amazing before the krauts got at it, lovely aspect overlooking the countryside.
I love it when you see gates like that to buildings that no longer exist or are ruins... amazing.
I bet there's some money in them there cast iron gates. Nick em and sell them on the black market - gates from C-N-D-P! superb.
