I got the Tubi on my 997tt and it has transformed it into the sports car it should have been. Well worth the money and a must if you like sports car sound.Speak to Manu at TubiStyle he was extremely helpful and service was excellent. I am at the other end of the country in scotland and it al went without a hitch. I am doing vidoes of the new sound this weekend for them.

Tubi now fitted - and it's brill! Thanks to Manu at Scuderia Systems and Mike at SportsandClassic. Fairly straight forward - when you know what to do!! Shame the Porsche turbo studs aren't up to much, but everything lined up and fitted without having to modify or bodge anything.
Well worth it - sounds the way it should have done out the factory!
Around town and light gas it's very civilised - from the passenger seat my wife couldn't tell that anything was different. Even under hard acceleration with the windows closed, the cabin noise isn't too intrusive.
But through the Airport tunnels with the windows down - it was spine tingling!!!!
A quick blast down the motorway at 'normal' cruise speed brilliant - no resonace or annoying hums etc
RECOMMENDED

Graham,
Do you know the level of noise with the new exhaust - i.e. would you run into trouble at some track day venues?

I have now decided on the tubi. 20-30 extra bhp, 60% more noise when excelerating, 5-6 hours to fit.
I don't understand why it's not an option from Porsche?

Thanks for all the replies.

Mike - I think it makes it sound like at least 50 HP more!! It's scary quick anyway - now it sounds that way as well.
Cool

Re Sound Levels - I intend to get a sound check done at the end of the month. At the last track day it only registered 90 dBa on the static paddock test, so even doubling the noise will only take it to 93dB. The sound is much deeper so as long as there no strange frequency quirks it should (fingers crossed) by less than 100 dB. Not sure of the max power drive by figure though - I'll post the results as soon as know.
