Where can I get a Wii?

One of my friends brought his Wii round last night and i am hunting for one today (I liked it that much!)

Is there anywhere i could get one which i could pick up today? (I know theres not much chance as they seem very popular at the moment)

Hiya, all i can say is good luck and it all depends on where you live.

I was a lucky one as I managed to find a wii the tuesday before christmas at my local game. The only thing you can do is ring around your local gaming shops and ask if they have one to sell. Some shops are still filling preorders. Also, you try here - www.wii-consoles.co.uk/

Amazon sometimes have stock, check argos, woolworths and waitrose.

Lots of places have them now for 2 reasons...the first, that post christmas stock is now in, and secondly...people aren't brave enough to ask!!

Ring every computer games shop in your area....one will have them, that's for sure. And at RRP too.

I've heard that they're still trying to get through the pre-order backlog, guestimates suggest that it'll be February before shops will have any kind of stock available.

Can still try Ebay but expect to pay about £300 for one.

If you have nothing to do check amazon whenever you can!

They have stock now and again! Mate was on amazon at the right time (9.30am 22nd Dec) ordered the wii got it on special next day delivery!

Paid 188 in total?? (£8 for del charge)

My local Game had a load in on Friday, admittedly sold out without a few hours, but still had them in stock for normal shoppers and not just pre-orders. Don't think you will have to wait till Feb

A woolies, wasn't exactly local but I was willing to travel for my Wii!

Bugger, can't find one anywhere. Woolies say they have none, Currys say all they have are for pre-orders and if they are not collected they go to other pre-orders. HMV are out, John Lewis are out - guess I'll have to wait a few weeks...

Spoke to my local Gamestation today (Worthing), and they are getting some in next week. They are no longer taking pre-orders and it is first come, first served.

If I ring on the day they come into stock, they will hold me one back for that day. Just have to keep calling though.

If it is company policy for Gamestation, a quick call to your local may get you one sooner
