Merci - Whats it worth

Here's my view -
Rightly or wrongly the car will be deemed 'high mileage' at 19,000 for a 2 year old car
Retail at Lambo London would be around 160k, with an independant being around 150 and 'trade' being around 136k representing a 15% markup
Price in a years time, i'd put at trade - 1k x 12 = 124k
Prices have firmed at the moment due to inavailability of LP640's , but you can guarantee as soon as the 4 dealerships start delivering in anger prices will adjust

Murcielago's are epic, and yellow is one of the best for resale
Early cars were prone to the same shock absorber problem the Diablo 6.0s had. Obviously this being a later car , shouldn't be of concern.
Warranty is 24months , don't believe it's extendable. Bat wings are prone to fail, clutches can be expensive if they start to slip. Apart from that, pretty bullet proof cars. Long sweeping license losing power delivery and (bar the width) as easy to drive as a ford focus
I concur with that! To be fair bat wing hinges only crack if they are mucked about with constantly..as I do. There is no extension available on the 2 year factory warranty and until there is, it will have a negative impact on resale values. The 2005 MY cars have the Gallardo brake set up which is far better than earlier cars and the newer type windscreen wiper assembly which again is far superior - it doesn't lift off the glass over 100mph. By 2005 there is was no real issues, throttle body, central door locking and front hub problems all sorted by mods from the factory

Hi,
If the clutch is slipping with only 9k on the clock it must have been abused at some point. Si's Murcie gets much more hammer than a normal murcie (clutch wise with the brunt days) and his first clutch lasted around 30K. With regard to the engine check lights don't know about the murcie but my gallardo did get the occasional one with just the Tubi fitted. De-catted I dont get them at all.
I would ask them to resolve the issues prior to purchase and then go from there.
Andy.

A £1,200 pound service especially at Lambo London is a real basic service. A Major service costs £3,300
There should have been another page to the invoice which stated the faults found with the car and cost to remediate upon service.
Lambo London will charge you upwards of 6k to change the clutch and flywheel (flywheel will be toast if the car has started to slip )...... Is it indicative of being thrashed, maybe not ... Is it indicative of someone badly driving it and not considering the mechanicals.. Definately. And definately NOT covered on a warranty
