On my screen, there is just a black box where there should be the scrolling news headlines. I'm using IE7.

It looks a bit 'Readers Wives' to be honest.

Been like that for a while now, I think its due to PetrolTed and the rest being on Holiday over Christmas and New Year.

I get that too with IE7 (using it for the 1st time tonight) instead of FF2 - so assumed it was a setting somewhere that I've not enabled or something.

Sorry about that. Wasn't aware of the problem.

I'll check it out in IE7 this week.

Same problem here Ted - I have to add "whatsnew.asp" to the end of the URL.

IE7.

Ted, don't know if this helps you, but when loading pages that have the ticker and the floating box, I get the following:

Yellow exclamation mark in bottom left, says Done, but with errors on page.

Error says:

Line 8
Char 66
ERROR: 'CoolJSMenu' is undefined
Code 0

URL: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/

Strange. Thought I'd fixed it last night (actually to do with there being no news for over a week).

I'll investigate further.

Ted, sorry, just to clarify, I can see the ticker, but cannot see the floating box for some reason?

Fixed my own error.

Did the following:

Downloaded and reinstalled Windows Script Host 5.6;
Rebooted and ran the following:

Start>Run>Regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Start>Run>Regsvr32 jscript.dll

Now sorted.
