Speedo Sensor Setting

Have trawled the forums and the Bible to find the correct setting for the back axle speedo sensor.

I saw somewhere that it should be 6 thou - but is that correct.

I set mine to about 9 thou'.
Make sure however that the sensor never comes into contact with the half shaft, so check by spinning the road wheel whilst watching the sensor to half shaft clearance.
Don't forget that there will be a tiny amount of movement in the bearings so if you go too close the sensor may touch while cornering or accelerating.
Also before you fit the sensor check that the connector is the same as the old one, other wise, like me you will have to cut off the old plug and crimp on to new sensor.
