I posted on here some time ago about getting the corroded wheel bolts on the Masser sorted out and was pointed in the direction of Hill Engineering.

I've finally pulled my finger out and fitted Hill's finest using their 'saver socket' and thought I would share a couple of before and after type shots. The quality of their bolts was totally top draw.

Btw I have no affiliation with Hill Engineering hehe

Might have to look them up, over the past month my nuts have turned a little rusty (and yes, I'm referring to the car!)

Common prob on the 3200GT?

I think most of the problem is down to using a standard type socket which tends to grip on the end of the flat edge under load damaging the coating, and once damaged the rust rampages in quite easily. Hill's do a socket which grips on the flat edge of the bolt so the chance of damaging the coating during fitting is reduced.

Hill Engineering have a website which you can buy through as I did at
www.hill-engineering.co.uk

The total cost including the bolts (10 front and 10 rear), socket, VAT and delivery to my door was £278.
