Do you enjoy spending money on your car??
Discussion
Maybe its me but I actually enjoy spending money on the Lambo when I've got it spare. Its much better than spending it on some silly blo*dy gift for someone, or getting smashed at the pub. Does anyone else (on going to Halfords for 1 item) come out with a basketfull of cleaning materials? Why do I buy 2 makes of tyre shine when 1 will do.? I've never been able to work it out.
Good old Halfords. I went in there to get some pearl orange paint mixed up to have the cam covers painted as the engine was out. They looked at me blankly but then I found a dusty old tin of VW Polo Orange from 15 years ago. Perfect match

My warranty runs out mid jan,is it worth a check up at main dealer although it doesn`t need a service?

I would if I were you. I did'nt think I had anything wrong with the Murcie just before the warranty expired and booked it in to make sure. Turns out the water pump needed replacing saving me £2k and loads of minor things needed sorting too.

Er, being Scottish, no of course I dont
I dont mind spending 'normal' money (servicing, MOT, consumables) but I dislike dropping big money on unexpected items. Luckily, owning a Honda has precluded that happening for the last 3-4 years now

:touchwood:when you say lucky about owning a Honda, did you forget that very expensive bill last year

In fairness, not the cars fault - would have happened no matter what I was driving!
But yes, 'twas expensive...
Still, runs like brand new now

I agree. Any decent dealer will take the opportunity to give you a good look over. Lambo Manchester have an unrivalled reputation for doing the decent thing and making sure the car is sweet before the warranty expires.
