Picking up an Xbox 360 next weekend and I was wondering what everyone’s top games are?

I am aware there games like GoW and CoD3 etc but are there any games that have had little to no press that i could be missing?

Anyone played Rockstars Table Tennis? i read some really good things about this when it was released but not heard a great deal since! its only 15 new

Well you want to pickup Oblivion, had it's fair share of press but was released back in March. Test Drive Unlimited is very good, Viva Pinata is a great oddball choice, then it all boils down to what genres you like playing, personal recommendations would be Hitman, Lego Star Wars 2 and Splinter Cell to name a few.

Test Drive. Is this as good as everyone says? The idea seems good however without having played something like Forza 2 pulls me in its general direction

There's more than enough room on my gaming shelf for both titles, I like Test Drive as I can just jump in one of the cars and drive wherever I like on the island, it's the best hoon sim around and totally different to driving on track, I reckon you'll be waiting another 6 months or so for Forza 2 so surely something else with delicious automotive treats in it deserves a look.

Fair play. Having looked at the game it does seem rather comorhenisve with its car coverage and the idea of driving in real time with multiplayers online doess impress

Roll on forza 2 though. I thought it was penciled in for Q1?

Pretty much sums it up from what I thought of the demo

IMO, if I could do it all again, I would go for :

PGR3 (over TDU).

COD3 - Loved the single player.

GOW - Single player, multiplayer, but most of all, co-op

Rainbow 6 Vegas - Hardcore concentration, "be the ball" kind of game

Tiger Woods - If that's your thing ?

Pro Evo or FIFA 2006.

Moto GP is one I enjoyed, but probably more down to the fact it was a gap filler between game releases and there was not a lot else to play. If you like bikes, you'll love this.

Anyway, as for driving games, if you can hold off a couple of months (and if release dates are stuck to) there will be Forza 2 and GTR available. However, what with them being 'simulator' type games, the arcady feel of PGR3 may suit you more ?

Anyhoo, with what is available, and with what is coming, Test Drive would not make the list for me

I do not really like arcade style racers. PGR is certainly a title with alot of love but i know as soon as Forza 2 landed on my door mat PGR would be shelved for every.

I am fully aware its a personal thing but I can not see how an arcade game is more enjoyable than a real race sim like Forza. The first one was stunning and I am really looking forward to the new one with the inclusion of Lambos

Forza and PGR2 managed to live together in my collection for the Xbox, so I am sure Forza 2 and PGR3 should compliment themselves nicely for me on the 360

I got;

TDU
GOW
PGR
PGA07
Saints Row
DOA4

And apart from DOA4 (don't like fighting games!) I fond it really hard to choose which one to play, they are all so dam good! Tiger Woods is winning it at the moment, but only cause its new!

Lets see...

PGR3 - reasonable arcade racer, interesting online play, though frustrating the number of bad drivers. Worth only picking up at budget cost, either 15 quid online somewhere, or used..

Prey - wasnt impressed at first, and although nice to look at, a bit samey single player, crap online play.

CoD2 - excellent graphics, tough but interesting single player, online a hoot, though you need to stick at it to be good.

Oblivion - Probably the game i played the most, just shy of 100 hours gameplay i think, havent picked it up in a while, may be roll playing, but huge and interesting, but well worth buying, especially as it can be got at a budget price.

TDU - i think its awesome, great graphics, lots of cars, and nice non-linear play, online interesting, better than PGR.

GoW - a lot of fun, single player not bad, online hugely fun!

Others, amped3 - fun but samey, only good if you like that sort of thing; TC vegas 6 - probably very frustrating and in depth, but good online deathmatches; saints row, bad GTA clone; dead rising - fun but samey..

as has been said, it comes down to what your into, but definatley get the premium system, and get online asap!
