London Thunder - Record Breaker?

[ssavill]

Hi all - quick question - Did we get the "offical" record breaking number for London Thunder - if so, just interested in what the final number was, and if its going to appear on the "world records" website anywhere?

Cheers all,

Stuart.

They haven't replied back to us yet as far as I know, but have acknowledged the receipt of our claim and our evidence.

Hi Stuart,
We have submitted all of our material (video evidence) to the GWR people, who have confirmed receipt, and that it will take up to 8 weeks to process, so we are still waiting. It is unfortunate that, due to teh huge numbers who turned up on the day, we didn't manage to get everyone on the film, but the official count was still 479 - which clearly breaks the previous "official" record of 249.

I'll let you know once we have received formal confirmation from GWR.
Cheers, and Happy New Year to all
David
