Darren, mine was bespoke, the SEAC system is not the same as yours.Personally i would go for the sports one.
When first talking to Tim i wanted to go straight through,he talked me out of it,glad he did.
In the end the silencer was 12" long. This worked well, fitting was easy.
When the exhaust arrived i had a good look at it,i couldn't fault it,bloody fantastic for the price.
I would talk to Tim,he's enthusiastic about these cars and will listen to what YOU want.

Darren...im looking to replace the rear of my exhaust, fancy selling your one if its just too loud???
Matt the one I have taken off is none standard, Mikeb had it custom made, the rear section may be made to fit, but you would need to mod it. I will take some photos and post em in a bit when my heads gone better
Thanks for thr info Steve
I know you cant tell much from a photo but ..........
What looks like boxes are not boxes, fitted to fool the MOT man I think, they are just straight through pipes
As you can see none of the system would be a straight forward fit unless you fitted the whole thing inc headers, and I think the headers already have a new home.

Badred, the stainless headers, downpipes and the 'boxes' were custom made for the car when it had that £8k blueprint job on the engine.
I had from the 'boxes' back replaced recently in stainless with a straight through pipe, minus the final 'box'. Which I think actually has some silencing stuff inside it! hence the super loud in yer face noise output.
Badred, if you study the three or four page bill from that rebuild (in with the file I gave you) I reckon that the 'boxes' were made to compliment the engine rebuild from a backpressure perspective to maximise the power of the engine. Since the straight through back section was put on I think that the car had lost a little of the brutal edge that it had with the final box in place (IMHO) although it still has plenty left over ;-)
Have a good think about what you are replacing it with, it might be worth talking to the people who built the original system before you take the plunge.
Tim's systems are excellent and the quality second to none but even those might require some slight adjustment to make 'em fit bang on. These cars ain't standard especially from model to model, so expect some fiddling to make them fit (Wyn didn't you have to do some slight adjustments to make the 350i pipes fit correctly?). I think that the only way to be sure is to have the exhaust built in situ with the car up on ramps.
Have a talk to the people who built the stainless system and pick their brains first if I were you.

Ps. I have something in the post for you!

Matt, its all custom built cost a fecking fortune
Mike, thanks for the reply, I will be on the blower to the engine rebuild place and see what they say about the exhaust system, I will also have a chat with Tim and see what he says. There is no rush, the sun does not come up again in the north untill about March
I will give you a bell later in the week.

I put the ACT stainless headers on the 350i ( wish I'd kept them now
} and they only needed a small amount of bending at the chassis one side and the gearbox the other. I say "only", my mate fitted them in his garage... I don't think "only" is a word he would have used!
