Anyone got a N/S fuel tank to sell me please ??

I'm sure I saw a link to a place that fabricates them not so long ago...do a search and see what comes up.

Could you get it in without lifting the body? i am sure that you could get one in but not the other - or am I thinking of wimmin??

Think RT Racing do them

N/S should be ok to replace, think the O/S needs a bit of fibreglass removing but can be done with the body on.

Depends. I can get it out but I have to drop the suspension tie rod and it is quite a struggle. Worst thing is getting all the pipes back on! no getting them off was worse...

The exhaust is off at the min and its 3 foot off the ground, it does not look to bad a job (famous last words) not sure about all the pipes, but its winter, its cold, its dark, big bother back on the fecking telly with Jade Goodie so what else is there to do ??.

Sure there is an article in an old sprint on how to remove the tank with the filler? Did the other side and spent a few hours with this tank, free and no pipes, refusing to come out no matter what I tried. Undid some of the suspension and out it poped.

edited to add, found the article and its about removing the sender on a series 1 not the tank by Ralph Dodds. September 1993.



Now in the process of going back over sprints from 1993 onwards looking at wedges................sad or what, thinking about making a note of noted appearances. And I cannot find my SEAC special edition.

Oh eck, Next page on is a magazine article called "Dark Star", 420 SEAC being test driven...
