remember that most modern bike carbs are semi down draft and dont like being run at the wrong angle

Most modern bike carbs should ideally keep the floats as they are in the bike, however, I've seen some, on a RV8, which had the choke pointing near vertical. They are easy to fit and just require a new manifold. You may need a new low (3-8 psi) fuel pump if you previously ran injection. Some of the carbs also have a TPS fitted as standard should you require one, most can have one fitted easily enough though. Most of the companies mentioned for manifolds can give you full advice on precisely what you'll need for your install.

is it carbs you want to use or bike throttle bodies?

if it's the latter this guy fitted them to his Sylva Mojo, running a Ford zetec. Pretty comprehensive conversion guide.
