Could not get the Chim to start Today just wouldn't fire up.
Took a plug out and it was pretty well swimming in fuel so went
to Halfrauds to get a new set but they had no NKG B7ECS plugs but
they did have Champion EON5 plugs which according to the pack are
for the Chim and Griff. When I compared them to one of the NGK plugs
that came out, the new ones are about 5mm longer from base of nut to tip.
Obviously I dont want to fit them if they are going to hit a piston?
Anyone got any experience with this make of plug. Also if anyone has any
idea why a car that has been running fine would suddenly not want to fire
up in the driveway I would really like to know.
Thanks in advance, Col

I have used the Eon plugs before. I was a bit concerned about the length too, but they dont hit the piston and they work fine. No noticable difference in performance to the NGK plugs though.

Changed the plugs Today and finally got the car running
but it is still not too keen to start up. Also when driving
if I put my foot down it starts to misfire and breakdown quite
badly. Not sure what to try next, coil maybe ?
