Can anybody help me out with this? Basically I need to run the internet through my laptop to the 360. I tried this when I first got it and got it to work, I found a webpage that gave you step by step instructions but I can't find it anymore.

I've created a network bridge between the LAN and Wireless connection, and when I try to connect to Live it fails on an MTU test. I changed the MTU settings on the router to 1500, so in theory it should work, but it still fails on it.

I know that it can work because it has been on before, does anyone know what might be the problem? Or how to get it working?

Many thanks.

Okay so I just tried it again and it still says that its failing on the MTU test. Does anyone know why this may be? I've had it running before but cannot remember what was different.

Any help would be great.

Hi,

I would set the settings on 360 manually also turn off any firewall or antivirus programs and test again to eradicate any issues with firewalls

Still couldn't get it work, was doing my head in so much that I decided to sod it and just go and pay ten pounds for a telephone extension cable. Job done, and now I don't have to worry about a low wireless signal.
