Tried over the last few days - looks like it's too late unless your prepared (and have the holiday allowance) to hang around until the middle of the week after.

I tried booking for this last October and for about 4 weeks of trying found every single hotel, ferry, car hire + air etc. was booked up! There wasn't a hope in hell of me watching this year.

Don't give up - bookings are made as deposit only and people do bail when the balance requests are sent out. Keep checking, get yourself in touch with the Steam Packet folk and badger them a bit.

As I said in a previous thread, I've got spaces in a house in Onchan for race week. I'd offer a lift over in the Vette but I'm going practice week in a hotel with my dad then moving to the house.

Spaces will become available!!!!!
