GKN Diff cost ?

How much should I be looking to pay for a GKN (pre cat) diff woth about 20K miles ?
And, what sort of cost am I looking at getting a recon ?

Any input very appreciated.

My recon for my GKN diff done by Competition Transmissions a couple of months back was just shy of £400. A 2nd hand unit from a breakers was quoted at £425 (condition unknown) and a rebuilt unit on an exchange basis from another transmission specialist was £750.
The rebuild is the best option IMO - you know what you are getting and the work is guaranteed.

Seconded, they are rare as hens teeth, and apparently if crown wheel goes there are no spares available. Bernie (CTS) is top rate in my book, try and talk to him about what you need, he is the expert.

I've got one, without checking 3.3:1 allegedly 23K before the crash, looking for £350 has the propshaft as well. Phone numbers on the website.
