Well, the clutch finally went yesterday. Could be the seals only but wont know until Fernies take a look. So sad to see it being taken up the road on a flatbed....

did you go for the race/hi torque version or the standard spec one? Is the weight of the clutch pedal still the same? And there upgraded slave cylinder I assume?

Hi Whitey,

I went for the standard spec version. The pedal feels a little lighter and the bite is softer. It feels like it is bedding in somewhat at the moment with some stickiness into some gears but seems to be improving towards a light and smooth clutch so I am happy with that. Yes, I got the full kit with the slave too.

Cheers

Hi Nick,

The clutch and slave comes out at around £620 inc VAT then there was about 6hrs labour on top plus fluids and a couple of other bits and bobs.

Hi Nick, Hi Nick..

It is the cheaper of the two aftermarket options (Craft's Clutch being the other) although I'm not saying it is better or worse as an option - each manufacturer just caters for slightly different tastes/requirements I think.

It certainly does seem to be bedding itself in nicely though
