Hi All,

Just wondered if anyones had their ticket allocation letter yet. Past few years it normally arrives the week before Christmas.
Anyone aware of any delays/problems?

Andy.

Mine was waiting for me on my return from Xmas hollies - it was sent by airmail on the 21st December and has to be acknowledged and paid by 4th January. I sent a fax with my credit card number on it and posted the original by airmail on the 3rd

I think the ACO is taking the piss by sending these out so close to Christmas, especially when half of GB is away somewhere. But maybe thats the plan - more tickets for the locals if we don't respond promptly.

Nothing direct from the ACO yet although I understand the agencies are confirming now...

rang them today (ACO), apparently they are working their way through them and are currently processing the orders that were sent in last June/July. when I asked them what the chances were of getting the tickets I requested about a month or two ago (Houx Annexe) they said it was pretty unlikely as they are almost full already (Same for Houx).

James,

Thanks for the info, I should maybe hear something in the next week then. I may have a couple of spare Houx annexe depending if I get my full allocation. Will pm you when I find out. How many tickets are you looking for?

Andy.

A quick question for those people who have received their ticket allocation for Houx ....have you got pre-numbered and allocated pitches as in previous years. I was always under the impression that the whole of Houx was in marked-out, numbered pitches, however our allocation has come thru and does not appear to be in pre-assigned pitches. Anyone else got this issue?

Sounds like we need an advance movement to grab a big enough pitch

I think there are some odd things going on with the campsites and allocation of space.

The people the ACO describe as "regulars" for MB received a letter saying that the site would be zoned and were asked to choose a zone. BUT the invoices to them and to others (who weren't asked about zones) have come out without any reference to zones.

Be careful if buying tickets from others for MB in case they have allocated zones and when the tickets get issued you discover that buying from different people has left you with tickets in different zones. Hopefully one can assume that tickets on the same invoice to the same person are all in the same zone...
