Bloody hell, that sounds fantastic.

Is it as good from the drivers seat?

JC has gone for the even quieter straight through pipes!!,if you listen carefully outside you should be able to hear it at spa in july.

Nice little slide at time 3.30 ish!!

Woops!

Saw one of these at Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart when the 3.2 was getting it's climate control fixed.

It sounded awesome as it pulled away from Porsche Platz - like a banshee wail - almost no bass - just a wooooooop! sound!!

Porsche really have got a well sorted "over head valve" lump in there!
sounds like the tappets could do with some slight adjustments then get the points set.
Okay i'm going.

The driving here reminds me of a college buddy that used to pump his brake pedal because he didn't have ABS, and somehow totally and utterly got the ar*e end of the stick on what ABS was all about. I'd sit beside him totally bemused as we'd pull up at traffic lights in a sequence of gentle jerks that went on well into walking speed and below; and no amount of explaining what ABS was for/its benefits/that he was supposed to brake hard right up to the moment the tyres started to lose traction, before releasing the brakes for a fraction and then re-applying them hard etc would convince him otherwise. No. Instead, we'd bunny hop our way around at pedestrian speed alarming everyone else on the road for no good reason. That guy went on to have some reasonable success rallying as a privateer, as it happens, so maybe his technique had some merit after all. His car must have been as unsettled as be-damned as he danced his mystifying and unintelligible jig on its brake pedal every time he wasn't on the gas, so maybe it was all F16-ey and hyper-reactive as a result.

I've no doubt that it's possible the driver here was still getting used to the CGT, but someone should probably explain that blipping the throttle on a downchange really only helps if its done at the right moment. Doing it, and then grabbing a gear when the revs you've helpfully added to smooth progress have all gone home isn't really much good. Car sounds awesome, though. Red's a proper colour, too.

He is clearly getting to grips with his new toy, hence a couple of mis shifts, which is allowed.
All more the fun of learning such a car, as long as the shifts are up instead of a expensive down..

It's not the best bit of driving I ever saw, or heard, but he is driving a Carrera GT, so he is clearly a legend! How about that sound, I love the racket my 997 Carrera S makes, but that is ridiculous. I think there are two Carerra GT's in Aus....
