X360 mouse compatibility?
Discussion
Is this likely to be introduced? Its good news that a keyboard works, but I was just curious if they will make it compatible with a mouse soon. What with the likihood of a web browser sometime this year, and command and conquer 3 making its way to the 360 it would be a very good idea.
Anybody know anything?

i didnt know the keyboard worked...
I doubt the mouse could be used with FPS games since microsoft worried about players getting an unfair advantage over players with standard controllers.
As with the old Xbox, you can buy an adapter that lets you use a mouse and keyboard.I was led to believe a USB keyboard works for things like typing in your account details etc - but not games on the 360 though. The adapter would allow you to use it though for gaming.
Anyway, while the adapter will let you use a keyboard and mouse, the one i purchased for the original Xbox just got on my nerves in the end and i gave up bothering to use it.I do ok with a pad anyway, i always have but i just wanted to have a go with a mouse (like you do).
People were up in arms about them though because some people did find them easier to use and it could help with FPS type games. However they operated in a way that was nothing like a PC mouse imho.
They just assigned the joypad movement to a mouse move, so there wasn't the ultra fast precision you
could get with a PC mouse in FPS games.
It took me quite a while to set mine up and when i did it just wasn't worth the effort to me.
Here is one for the 360:

If anyone gets one, let me know what you think, but like i say, if you are comfortable with using the joypad, you may be wasting your time.
