Forum postings - Logged?

If I create a forum do I need to log all IP addresses? Also, do I need to log modified or deleted posts?

There is no law compelling you to do so, its your own personal preference if you want to log things.

As poster above said, it's personal preference, but it's a good idea, as if you get idiots posting on it, you can ban them and still know it's them if they change their name - if you follow.
