Been using IE7 for a couple of months now (XP SP2) - no problems at all, in fact I'm using it more than FireFox presently. But I am aware that others have been spitting bullets at IE7 so I guess there's some gremlins.

I hate you lot...

It also takes up to a minute to fill the Favourites drop-down.

I have my links showing across the top and it won't select anything now from a new tab...

Grollocks...

Just uninstall it.
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Program > Internet Explorer 7 (click remove).

It will revert to IE6, all your favorites will be remembered as will passwords to websites. It also does not affect your ability to run Windows Update.

Firefox + AdBlock + Filterset.G updater + MyIE (for any sites that will not work in FF).

Ran it fine on my laptop since the Beta and on a number of machines. Upgraded it on two brandnew laptops over Christmas. Died before even getting going. Have gone back to IE6 and Firefox.

Opera also has tabbed pages and has never fallen over or been incompatible with web pages i've looked at over last year or two.

Had problems the first time I downloaded IE7 - uninstalled and downloaded again and it is fine - it's FireFox 2 that now is mucking up and shutting down - at least you can restore the tabs on start-up!
