new montreal 19 inch wheels on XJR V8?!
Discussion
hello , anyone out there can help me out?
I still have the original 18 inch XJR wheels on my '99 er , but they look shabby now. I want to buy new 19 inch montreal alloys which look very nice , like fitted to the XJR 100 once. However, I am afraid the ride or handling will decrease , and I do not know if the Michelin Pilot Sport 255/35/19 tires that I still have , will fit?????
On photos I can see that the originally fitted Pirellis seem to have a special design to take the polished stainless steel rims
.
Or is it all a bad idea and should I refurbish the old XJR wheels?
