HA my Fazer is quicker than a

TVR Cerbera 4.5
Lamborghini Diablo SV
TVR Tamora
and a Porsche 911 GT3

to 1/4mile.

OK not with me riding but hay not bad for a cheap commuter

Indeed...an impressive list of machines on that list...It takes an exceptional car to break the 12`s & get into the 10 & 11 sec quarters...(bike territory)

It cracked me up to see that the Caterham is quicker than a Pan Euro - the Honda probably weighs more

Am not really suprised, I can't believe my bike is only a 600, have ridden other 600's and they are flat until 9000rpm. The ZZR seems like the only 600 with a midrange AND kick up the arse at the top. It's got to help those quarter mile times.
I am old enough to buy/insure whatever I like and yet feel no need to change away from the ZZR.

I have spemt a fair bit of time riding with some fast cars on hoons and I can tell you that you have to work to keep up with those Nobles, on an open road. And it takes a fair length of road to pass them.

Agreed, I was chasing a Noble once and it is the only time I have come close to binning it at high speed on the Duke.

Was on the A40 near Burford and had a pant filler of the highest order. VERY fast cars.

My garage has a Ducati ST4S and a Ultima GTR, the Ultima is way quicker on chat but you simply never get the opportunity to use it. A to B passed traffic on an A road the Duke is way faster

I was careful to say 'on an open road' in my post.

You are quite right; a quick car can seriously bother a bike, but when you add traffic into the mix thre is no contest.
