Dear all,

I’m looking for the correct tie rod ends for my 1962 Grantura Mk 2A with worm and sector steering (Ford Anglia type) and I don’t know from which car the track rod ends have been taken.

There are two different sizes of tie rod ends at the front. The smaller ones (inner) have a conus with diameter circa 11mm, on the rubber there is the code 022 – 0002 –924 –009 and V5 – 12099 – CFW C29, on the metal corpus there is the code 3A.

The bigger ones (outer) have a conus with a diameter about 13 mm and nothing left on the rubber. On the metal corpus there is the code 5. The diameter of the tie rod is about 15 mm.

I think on the rear there are only the bigger ends fitted.

Can anyone help with car type, part number or something else?

Martin Assuming your car to be RHD. Nearside track rod ends. Large outer is L/H thread and small inner is R/H thread. Offside track rod ends Large outer is R/H thread and small inner is L/H thread. rears are all large and presumably 2 L/H thread and 2 R/H thread. The small ones are from split screen Morris Minor with OHV engine approximately 1953 to 1957. The large ones are from Riley 1500 of a similar age. Confused, soam I !! and remember all TVR's are not the same, particularly at that age. Hope this helps sTeVeR
