I bought these on impulse this morning at Jessops. Although not the idael for motorsport photography the 5D will be fine for pits and paddock work. For portrait and landscapes it will be perfect.

I will keep the 10D and the 20D with their smaller sensors to empower my longer lenses!

When I got home I snapped my eldest daughter, it was indoors and gloomy so I set ISO to 1600 for this shot.Turnwed out okay I thought.

You could always still shoot on the 5D and just crop the middle of the pic... :P

Nice shot, tho I've gone off the 24-105 slightly because of its iffy bokeh, and poor crop sensor range, works nice with a FF sensor tho.

Nice daughter yum

Pic is very good especially at ISO1600 in my opinion, as is the camera... I wish I could "impulse buy" a 5D! hehe

sorry someone had to say it and vixpy doesn't come on here much

I have a 10-20mm so 24mm isnt to narrow for a walkabout. Any examples of 'good' bokeh then? Ones I've seen wide open with contrasty backgrounds have been very harsh at times and distracting.

I fixed the diamond on her tooth 7 years ago. We didnt think it would stay on this long!!

Its held on with orthodontic bracket adhesive which doesnt damage the underlying enamel so when we decide to remove it the tooth will still be perfect.
