Hi

I am looking to buy a Tuscan S fairly soon, I have seen one at Austin Owen (www.austinowen.com) that sounds pretty good, does anyone know of its history? Its an 04 model with 5,400 miles on it.

Still need some reassurance about buying one so I am going to invest in some brave pills!!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

They've had this car a long time. Must have had it on their books for at least a year, it was initially up for just under £33k. I made enquiries a year ago about a p/ex with mine, but they told me they'd had difficulty in shifting this one, so didn't want another one !. Good luck, and happy hunting.

Thought I had seen it for a while, has been discounted quite a bit buy now and they must be desperate to shift it.

I am concerned though that it has been sat for a while unused. Might go and take a look

I looked at in in may/june 06 was up for about £32 ish, I had no p/x and offered them £29K, not quite enough apparently !!

I suspect you could get a good price on it now, but I also suspect it may not be all it seems , its certainly been sat around for about a year !!!

yea I was worried about it sitting around, surely if it was a good one it would have been sold by now, hence trying to find out if anyone knew anything about it

At that kind of price, it is probably worth getting the car checked over independently, even if it does come at a cost - its great value especially with thaqt mileage, its just run in!!

also, they probably had probs shifting it as they are not a tvr dealer, its normally a major factor for anyone who wants a tiv with a warranty...in the past anyway.
